2. What Data We Collect

When you create an account and use Daily Hatch we collect:

• Email address
• Display name
• Confirmation that you are 13 or older and the time you confirmed
• Posts, comments, and responses you create
• Messages you send to other users
• Device information and IP address

We do not collect your phone number, precise location, or biometric data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Show your posts and responses in the app
• Send you notifications about activity on your account
• Generate daily creative prompts using AI
• Moderate content to keep the platform safe
• Respond to support requests

4. Third Party Services

Daily Hatch uses the following third party services to operate the platform:

Clerk (Authentication)

We use Clerk to manage user accounts and sign in. Clerk receives your email address, session tokens, IP address, and device information. If you sign in with Google, Clerk receives your Google profile information.

Supabase (Database)

We use Supabase to store all app data securely including your profile, posts, comments, messages, and previously submitted launch-interest information. Data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States.

Anthropic (AI Prompt Generation)

We use Anthropic's Claude AI to help generate daily creative prompts. Only admin-approved prompt content is sent to Anthropic. Your posts, messages, and personal information are never shared with Anthropic.

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts to display text in the app. Google receives your IP address and device information as standard browser metadata.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any advertising tracking tools. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers. The only third parties that receive your data are the services listed in Section 4 above which are necessary to operate the platform.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account all your personal data including posts, comments, and messages will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your Rights — California Users (CCPA)

If you are a California resident you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you
• Request a copy of your personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information

8. Your Rights — European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to processing of your personal data
• Request restriction of processing
• Data portability

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Daily Hatch is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13 you may not create an account. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13 we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account contact us at omaraly@hatchmediaapp.com.

10. DMCA Copyright Policy

Daily Hatch respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on Daily Hatch infringes your copyright please send a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent with the following information:

• Your name and contact information
• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the infringing content and where it is located on Daily Hatch
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
• Your physical or electronic signature

11. Data Security

We use industry standard security measures to protect your data including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission and secure authentication through Clerk. However no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of Daily Hatch after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
